Childhood Grief. Please note that this will be our last
meeting for 2008.
17,18,19 December 2008 – Christmas
Cakes and Puddings Sale in Martin Place
Christmas Cake Chairman Colin Green will be advising
further details in due course. It is anticipated that
selling will commence at approximately 10.00 am and
continue until 2.00 pm, or earlier if all stock is sold
out. Chairman Colin is pleased to confirm that we have
already received a number of substantial orders generated
by enquiries to our Lions Club of Sydney website. Would
all members please make a note in your diaries to be
ready to help with cake and pudding sales in Martin
Place on 17,18.19 December 2008.
31 December 2008 – New Year’s Eve
Party
Lions David and Elsie Carter invite members and friends
to celebrate the new year and view the fireworks from
their roof top balcony garden. Guests should arrive
from 8.30 pm onwards with fireworks displays at 9.00
pm and midnight.
Saturday 17 January 2009 – BBQ in the
courtyard of Sydney Hospital on the evening of the “Jazz
in the Domain” event.
This activity is still to be confirmed, so watch for
more details from Program Director Lion David Pell.

who will be making a presentation on the Wesley Mission.
This will be our first meeting for 2009.
Saturday 31 January 2009 – BBQ in the
courtyard of Sydney Hospital on the evening of the “Opera
in the Domain” event.

Year Quest
Adam Room Castlereagh Boutique Hotel from 6.30 pm till

Chairman Lion Colin Green. Please note that our normal
lunch meeting will NOT be held on 24 February because
of the Youth of the Year function that evening.
